Himalayan Hatha Yoga Weekend

Yogi Kaivalyananda is an in-demand International Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, originally from Scotland, and one of the world’s leading exponents of both Prana Kriya Yoga and Himalayan Hatha Yoga, who is passionate about helping others experience deep personal transformation through yoga and Reiki.

His journey in the Eastern arts began during a challenging period in which he suffered from debilitating back pain, amongst other problems, and was able to cure himself through his practices.

Kaivalyananda spends months each year studying and practising in India and has been fortunate to learn from several wonderful teachers there including his guruji Yogi Ashokananda, as well as Vinay Kumar, Balu Thevar, Dr Upendra Babu Khatri, Ty Landrum, David Robson, Deepika Mehta and Mark Robberds. He has also been inspired by his father Donald MacInnes who is a Reiki and Qigong Master and 8th Dan in Shotokan Karate.

Currently, his time is spent teaching yoga and energy healing between Spain, Scotland, Jordan and India to individuals, groups, athletes, international organizations, embassies and UN agencies. He also trains yoga teachers on teacher training programmes in Spain, Jordan and India.

Predominantly, Kaivalyananda teaches Prana Kriya Yoga, Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Reiki in the form of regular classes, workshops and retreats. He is the only teacher in the world authorized to run Prana Kriya Yoga foundation courses and is the only authorized Prana Kriya Yoga teacher in Spain, Scotland and Jordan.

In addition to teaching, he offers private yoga and healing consultations to those who require more personalised attention.
