Boosting Resilience 

Incorporating restorative techniques into your daily life can significantly enhance your resilience by promoting physical relaxation, reducing stress, improving sleep, enhancing emotional balance, and fostering a sense of community. This gentle yet powerful practice supports overall well-being, enabling you to handle life’s challenges with greater ease and grace. Our specialist workshop is designed with a variety of activities proven to boost resilience. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the benefits of restorative practices and take away a range of tools and techniques to enhance their resilience.

What to Expect

Mindfulness Meditations: Engage in guided meditations to cultivate a mindful and present state of being.

Resilience Discussions: Participate in discussions on how to boost resilience, with opportunities to create individualised plans throughout the day.

Mindful Movement: Experience gentle, mindful movement to connect with your body and release tension.

Resilience-Boosting Yoga Nidra: Have the chance to practice a Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra, specifically designed to enhance resilience.

Silent Reflection: Enjoy space for quiet reflection with journaling prompts to deepen your self-awareness.

Additional Information

Teas, coffee, snacks, and fruit will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch. We look forward to sharing this enriching experience with you and supporting your journey towards greater resilience.

About Susie

Susie has dedicated 20 years to working as a Social Worker within Justice Services, driven by her passion for helping people navigate difficult changes. Since early 2017, she has been sharing the benefits of mindfulness with her local community in Falkirk. Susie co-founded Pause & Breathe CIC and is thrilled to have opened The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge and The Place for Martial Arts & Wellbeing in Bo’ness, fostering a sense of community and connection. Susie is also a Mindfulness Coach and Certified Daring to Rest Facilitator and teaches Qi Gong and Chair Yoga. Her approach is trauma-sensitive, and she strongly advocates for giving participants choices in every aspect of her offerings.
