About Us

At the heart of yoga in Scotland

Yoga Scotland is a registered Charity with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and is recognised as the Governing Body for Yoga in Scotland by Sport Scotland, the national agency for sport in Scotland. We are also recognised by CIMSPA as an Education Partner. We are a membership organisation with a range of membership types suitable for all levels of practitioners; being a member unlocks a host of benefits and connects you to Scotland’s largest yoga network, a vibrant, inclusive community that connects through community events and shares evidence-based insights, knowledge, and resources.  We promote excellence and safe practice of yoga in Scotland through trained, experienced and qualified teachers and provide opportunities for the general public to learn more about yoga. We also provide ongoing training for qualified teachers and offer a range of courses and seminars for Yoga Scotland members and members of the public, as well as advice, information, and standards for practising and developing yoga in Scotland.

The elected Board of Trustees volunteer their time and expertise to support, manage, and guide the organisation’s work in accordance with our constitution. Perhaps you’d like to practice Karma Yoga and get involved?
